Wireline pressure control equipment training

JARP Well Service’s practical five-day technical training course is backed by an OEM provider of wireline pressure control equipment.

The course is focused on the safe and effective operation of wireline pressure control equipment during slickline and wireline well intervention operations.

The course is both classroom theory sessions coupled with practical workshop sessions and led by an instructor with decades of experience working hands on with various WPCE manufacturers’ equipment.

The course can be tailored to suit either your company owned assets, or to comply with your client’s operations manuals.

This course is designed to provide a practical and operational understanding of wireline pressure control equipment (WPCE), enhance personnel knowledge of WPCE and its operational procedures, enabling participants to carry out safe, efficient and disciplined operations at the wellsite.

Participants will be given the knowledge on how to correctly configure, operate, troubleshoot and understand WPCE rig ups for both slickline and wireline operations.

By the end of the training program, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of:

• Pressure safety awareness

• To gain an in-depth understanding and knowledge of WPCE items

• Correct selection and configuration of WPCE

• Knowledge of maintenance and servicing of PCE

• Perform safe rig-up, operation, and rig-down of slickline equipment

No formal prerequisites are required however the below would be advantageous

• Basic knowledge of oil and gas field operations

• Familiarity with wellsite activities is recommended
