JARP Well Services’ practical three-day technical training course is backed by an OEM provider of wireline pressure control equipment.

The course is focused on the safe and effective operation of wireline pressure control equipment during 15,000psi slickline and wireline well intervention operations.

The course combines classroom-based theory with practical workshop sessions and led by an instructor with decades of experience working hands on with various WPCE manufacturers’ equipment.

The course can be tailored to suit either your company owned assets or to comply with your client’s operation manuals. The training can either be conducted in Dammam Saudi Arabia, in Aberdeen Scotland or we can come to your facility to conduct the training to save employee travel time and deliver the training on the exact equipment your crew will utilise in the field.

What you’ll learn

This course is designed to provide a practical and operational understanding of wireline pressure control equipment (WPCE), enhance personnel knowledge of WPCE and its operational procedures, enabling participants to carry out safe, efficient and disciplined operations at the wellsite.

Participants will be given the knowledge on how to correctly configure, operate, troubleshoot and understand WPCE rig ups for both slickline and wireline operations.

By the end of the training program, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of:

  • Overview of pressure control operations

  • Introduction to 15K WPCE operations

    • Safety standards, policies, H2S guidelines, high pressure gas operations

  • 15k WPCE design, manufacture and recertification

  • Correct selection and configuration of 15K WPCE

  • Perform safe rig-up, operation, and rig-down of 15K equipment

  • Correct use of the 15K WPCE in wellsite scenarios
