Wireline Pressure Control Equipment course delivers 100% pass rate

JARP Well Services comprehensive five day Wireline Pressure Control Equipment (WPCE) training course was delivered to a group of delegates of a service company based in Saudi Arabia.

The course combined classroom theory with practical sessions covering the design, function, operation, inspection, testing, and safe use of wireline pressure control equipment. Candidates received detailed training on key WPCE components including stuffing boxes, tool catchers, lubricators, grease injection systems, wireline valves, control panels, pressure testing procedures, job planning, and field operational practices.

The candidates, comprising of engineers, crew chiefs and operators, had experience ranging from six months to twenty-two years creating a good mix for the class.

With a pre-assessment undertaken on the first day of the course to gauge the starting knowledge of the candidates, the results of the final exam proved staggering increases in marks, with every candidate gaining a minimum of 92% in the class plus two 100% passes.
